About Lion & Bear.

We didn't set out to start a pet brand. We just wanted to stop hurting our dogs.

Every brush we tried left them flinching. Sharp wires. Pulling. Scratching. The kind of thing that makes your dog see the brush coming and bolt to the other side of the room. We tried everything — and nothing felt right.

Then one day, out of frustration, we grabbed a human paddle brush. The kind you'd use on your own hair. And something unexpected happened.

They loved it.

They didn't run. They didn't flinch. They just... stayed. Leaned in, even. And in that quiet moment, something shifted. What started as grooming became something else entirely — a moment of stillness, of closeness, of trust.

That's when Lion & Bear was born.
